Andrew Kleit is Professor of Energy and Environmental Economics at Pennsylvania State University and founding chair of its program in Energy and Business Finance. He has served as a staff economist and economic advisor for the Federal Trade Commission and the Canadian Competition Bureau, and as a visiting scholar at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Professor Kleit has written more than 70 articles, including publications in leading economic and legal journals, and written or edited 5 books. He has consulted widely on antitrust enforcement, competition, and regulatory issues.
