Dr. Anna Nesterenko, a managing economist, specializes in the economic and statistical analysis of labor and employment issues. She works closely with experts and clients to develop complex analytical databases and design relevant statistical models.
Dr. Nesterenko has applied her analysis to allegations of discrimination in compensation, hiring, promotion, and termination, and to wage and hour claims. Her projects have included other business and commercial disputes as well, and she has estimated economic damages in personal injury cases in addition to those involving wrongful termination.
Before joining Nathan Associates’ litigation consulting practice in Southern California, Dr. Nesterenko had over six years of economic consulting experience, focusing mainly on employment discrimination but also on affirmative action and on compliance with regulations enforced by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP).
Dr. Nesterenko served as a research assistant and instructor in economics during her graduate studies at Stony Brook University. She also worked at the university’s Center for Survey Research as a data analyst and CATI programmer
