Mr. Young specializes in applying financial, economic, and statistical analyses to estimate damages in complex business litigation. He has provided expert testimony regarding economic damages in commercial dispute, consumer fraud, antitrust, bankruptcy, and investment suitability and trust fund management litigation. He is co-author of “Economic Damages and Financial Expertise and Economic Damages,” in Chapter 43, Volume 5, of the 2011-2012 edition of Modern Scientific Evidence: The Law and Science of Expert Testimony, published by Thomson Reuters/Westlaw..

Mr. Young’s specialties include economic damages, financial analysis, business valuation, patent valuation, fixed income investment suitability, strategic analysis of business competition, survey and market research, and forecasting market demand for new products and services. He has directed economic and management consulting assignments involving many industries, including cellular phone services, cable TV services, financial services, investment management, consumer food products, and hospital medical supplies.
