Dr. Matolo is a Principal Economist in Nathan Associates’ business and litigation consulting practice in Southern California. He specializes in the economic analysis of complex business issues, including economic damages, valuation, and economic impacts. Dr. Matolo has experience evaluating economic damages related to intellectual property, commercial disputes, antitrust, and labor disputes. He has conducted expert analyses in cases involving breach of contract, patent infringement, trademark infringement, unfair competition, false advertisement, misappropriation of trade secrets, anticompetitive conspiracy, wrongful termination, and economic and fiscal impacts of business operations. Dr. Matolo has served as a consulting expert and as a testifying expert.
In addition to consulting work, Dr. Matolo teaches economics at the University of Southern California and has served as a referee for the International Journal of the Economics of Business. Dr. Matolo is also a member of the Associate Board of the Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice.
