Kerry Hamilton is a Senior Consultant at Nathan Associates London with broad experience in project management, financial sector development, corporate social responsibility and international banking. Kerry has 18 years of experience in supporting initiatives throughout Africa, Asia and the UK. Kerry has been responsible for managing the £7.3m DFID funded Food Retail Industry Challenge Fund (FRICH) since its conception in 2008. FRICH supports private sector initiatives to develop innovative new business models designed to bring food products from Africa to UK and European consumers.
Before this she served as Project Manager for the Financial Sector Strengthening and Reform (FIRST) Initiative where she managed more than 50 projects worldwide. FIRST was a US$62 million multi-donor trust fund that constituted the largest financial technical assistance fund aimed at reforming the financial sectors in low and middle income countries.
Kerry also has extensive private sector project management experience and has designed and implemented projects for corporate and not-for-profit clients in the UK and Australia. Kerry began her working life in international banking in Asia and the UK.
Private sector development
