Mr. Miller brings an impressive range of quantitative and technological skills to his role as an economic analyst and program manager at Nathan Associates. He is versed in Access, Excel, and SAS, as well as Cloud technology and website development. During multiple assignments at Nathan, Mr. Miller has been involved in the technical development of numerous economic and trade-focused information systems.
He currently oversees home office management of two USAID-funded projects: Strategic Economic Research and Analysis (SERA, 2011–2015) in Zimbabwe, and the trade facilitation team of the Southern Africa Trade Hub (SATH, 2011–2015). Mr. Miller also serves as a website consultant to the Zimbabwe Economic Policy and Research Unit, or ZEPARU, as part of SERA.
Mr. Miller designed the data infrastructure and interface of the Guyana Revenue Authority’s reporting system, and led design of the information architecture of the website of Lao PDR’s Foreign Trade Policy Department. Additionally, Mr. Miller has managed Web portals, sourced and synthesized multisource economic data for countries’ analytic reporting, and designed tax information reporting systems. He has assisted with analytic writing and review of economic assessments for Colombia, Kosovo, Pakistan, and Panama.
Mr. Miller’s experience before joining Nathan in 2008 includes SAS programming and IT user support in higher education and healthcare settings, teaching and research assistance at universities, and teaching high school geometry.
