Dr. McCormick has served as an expert witness in antitrust class actions in state courts in Michigan and Minnesota. He has also served as an expert witness on issues concerning competition policy in utility deregulation, as well as other matters in federal courts in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and the District of Columbia. While at Clemson, he has served as the Academic Director of the Arthur M. Spiro Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, a Research Fellow at the Center for Communications Systems, a Senior Research Scholar at the Center for Policy Studies, and a Senior Research Scholar at the Center for the Black Experience in Higher Education. Earlier, he was a member of the faculty at the University of Rochester. He has also been a consultant to the Federal Trade Commission and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
