Global Business, Trade and Investment II

What is GBTI II?

Through the GBTI II indefinite quantity contract, missions, bureaus, and other U.S. Government agencies may procure, from pre-qualified consortia, technical assistance services related to business, trade, and investment. The IQC process simplifies procurement and ensures that bidders for each task order have been screened for technical excellence.
One of USAID’s broadest and most ambitious contracting vehicles, the GBTI II IQC will support the development and implementation of assistance to promote economic growth, reduce poverty, graduate transitional countries from aid to trade, promote open competitive markets, develop the private sector, and mobilize private financing to supplement and eventually replace development assistance. USAID anticipates both microeconomic and macroeconomic interventions. Holders of the IQC have demonstrated to USAID that they possess extraordinary technical and managerial skills in all key areas.
